Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 109 — Karṇa–Bhīma Yuddha and Durmukha’s Fall (कर्णभीमयुद्धम्; दुर्मुखवधः)
विसृजन्त:ः शरांश्वैव तोमरांश्न सहस्रश: । भिन्दिपालांस्तथा प्रासान् मुदूगरान् मुसलानपि
visṛjantaḥ śarāṃś caiva tomarāṃś ca sahasraśaḥ | bhindipālāṃs tathā prāsān muḍgarān musalān api ||
Sañjaya dit : Ils ne cessaient de lancer des volées de flèches, et par milliers jetaient aussi des lances — avec des bhindipālas et des prāsas — et même de lourdes massues et des musalas ; si bien que la bataille devint une tempête d’armes, mue par une ardeur guerrière sans relâche plutôt que par la retenue.
