अनेकवर्णा विविधा ध्वजा: परमशोभना: । ते ध्वजा: संवृतास्तेषां पताकाभि: समन्ततः

Transliteration

anekavarṇā vividhā dhvajāḥ paramaśobhanāḥ | te dhvajāḥ saṃvṛtās teṣāṃ patākābhiḥ samantataḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya dit : « Leurs étendards étaient de mille couleurs et de mille sortes, d’une splendeur extrême à contempler. Pourtant ces mêmes bannières se trouvaient, de tous côtés, enveloppées et comme voilées par les fanions qui les entouraient. »
