Description of the Bhīmasena–Karṇa Engagement
इति श्रीमहाभारते द्रोणपर्वणि जयद्रथवधपर्वणि संकुलयुद्धे चतुरधिकशततमो<ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate droṇaparvaṇi jayadrathavadhaparvaṇi saṅkulayuddhe caturadhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ
Sañjaya dit : Ainsi, dans le Mahābhārata sacré, au sein du Droṇa Parva—plus précisément dans la section sur la mise à mort de Jayadratha—s’achève le cent-quatrième chapitre, décrivant l’affrontement embrouillé et confus de la bataille. Le colophon en fait un tournant d’un grand poids moral : le chaos de la guerre s’accroît lorsque vœux, devoir et rétribution convergent autour du destin de Jayadratha.
