द्रोणेन केकय-चेदि-वीरवधः
Droṇa’s engagements with the Kekayas and Cedis
ब्रूहि कृष्ण यथाततच्त्व॑ त्वं हि प्राज्ञतम: सदा । भवन्नेत्रा रणे शत्रून् विजेष्यन्तीह पाण्डवा:,“श्रीकृष्ण! आप ही सदा सर्वश्रेष्ठ ज्ञानी हैं। अतः मुझे यथार्थ बात बताइये। आपको नायक बनाकर ही पाण्डव इस रणक्षेत्रमें शत्रुओंपर विजयी होंगे
brūhi kṛṣṇa yathātattvaṁ tvaṁ hi prājñatamaḥ sadā | bhavannetrā raṇe śatrūn vijeṣyantīha pāṇḍavāḥ ||
Sañjaya dit : «Dis-moi, ô Kṛṣṇa, la vérité telle qu’elle est, car tu es toujours le plus sage. Avec toi pour guide et chef dans cette bataille, les Pāṇḍava vaincront assurément les ennemis ici.»
