भीष्मस्य मध्याह्नयुद्धवर्णनम् / Mid-day Battle Description: Bhīṣma Engaged by the Pāñcālas
तलैश्नैवाथ निस्त्रिंशैर्बाहुभिश्न सुसंस्थितै: । विवरं प्राप्प चान्योन्यमनयन् यमसादनम्,अवसर पाकर वे थप्पड़ों, तलवारों तथा सुदृढ़ भुजाओंद्वारा भी एक-दूसरेको यमलोक पहुँचा देते थे
talaiś caivātha nistriṁśair bāhubhiś ca susaṁsthitaiḥ | vivaraṁ prāpya cānyonyam anayan yamasādanam ||
Sañjaya dit : Alors, à coups de paume ouverte et d’épée, et par la force de leurs bras puissants, solidement campés, dès qu’ils trouvaient une brèche dans la garde de l’autre, ils se précipitaient mutuellement vers la demeure de Yama.
