भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ९६: सौभद्रस्य आक्रमणम्, अलम्बुसस्य प्रतिविधानम्
Abhimanyu’s assault; Alambusa’s counter-engagement
राक्षसस्य तु त॑ शब्दं श्रुत्वा राजा युधिष्ठिर: । उवाच भरतश्रेष्ठ भीमसेनमरिंदमम्,भरतश्रेष्ठ! राक्षस घटोत्कचकी उस गर्जनाको सुनकर राजा युधिष्ठिरने शत्रुदमन भीमसेनसे इस प्रकार कहा--
rākṣasasya tu taṁ śabdaṁ śrutvā rājā yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | uvāca bharataśreṣṭha bhīmasenam arindamam ||
Sañjaya dit : Entendant le rugissement de ce rākṣasa, le roi Yudhiṣṭhira—le meilleur des Bhārata—s’adressa ainsi à Bhīmasena, dompteur des ennemis—. La scène met en lumière le devoir du chef : répondre au danger avec constance et diriger la force vers la protection des siens au cœur de la guerre.
