उक्तमेतन्मया पूर्व द्रोणेन विदुरेण च । गान्धार्या च यशस्विन्या तत् त्वं तात न बुद्धवान्,“तात! मैंने, द्रोणाचार्यने, विदुरने तथा यशस्विनी गान्धारी देवीने भी पहले ही यह सब बात कह दी थी, परंतु तुमने इसपर ध्यान नहीं दिया
uktam etan mayā pūrvaṃ droṇena vidureṇa ca | gāndhāryā ca yaśasvinyā tat tvaṃ tāta na buddhavān ||
Sañjaya dit : «Tout cela a été dit auparavant—par moi, par Droṇa, par Vidura, et aussi par l’illustre Gāndhārī. Pourtant, mon enfant, tu ne l’as pas pris à cœur ni agi avec discernement.»
