निस्त्रिंशवेगाभिहतौ ततस्तौ पुरुषर्षभौ | धरणीं समनुप्राप्ती सर्वभूतनिषेविताम्,तलवारकी गहरी चोटसे घायल होकर वे दोनों पुरुषश्रेष्ठ सम्पूर्ण भूतोंकी निवासभूत पृथ्वीपर गिर पड़े
nistriṁśa-vegābhihatau tatastau puruṣarṣabhau | dharaṇīṁ samanuprāptī sarvabhūta-niṣevitām ||
Sañjaya dit : Alors ces deux héros, taureaux parmi les hommes, frappés par l’élan rapide de l’épée, tombèrent sur la terre, refuge et demeure de tous les êtres.
