Yudhiṣṭhira–Śrutāyu encounter; Cekitāna–Gautama clash; Abhimanyu pressure; Arjuna’s redeployment

Educational Q&A

The verse highlights how righteous companionship and timely reinforcement strengthen resolve: courage is not merely individual but is sustained by solidarity, which in turn enables decisive action in fulfilling one’s duty amid adversity.

Sañjaya reports that two great archers, on seeing Abhimanyu advancing at the head of supporting warriors, become exhilarated and energetically attack, causing heavy destruction in the Kaurava host.
