Duryodhana’s Anxiety, Bhīṣma’s Reassurance, and Renewed Mobilization (दुर्योधनचिन्ता–भीष्मप्रत्याश्वासन–सेनानिर्गमनम्)
तब कृपाचार्य सब सैनिकोंके देखते-देखते लक्ष्मणको अपने रथपर बिठाकर युद्धभूमिमें वहाँसे अन्यत्र हटा ले गये ।।
tataḥ samākule tasmin vartamāne mahābhaye | abhyadravaj jighāṃsantaḥ parasparavadha-eṣiṇaḥ ||
Sañjaya dit : Alors, sous les yeux de toute l’armée, le maître Kripācārya fit monter Lakṣmaṇa sur son char et l’emmena loin du champ de bataille, vers un autre endroit. Puis, lorsque la scène devint confusion et grande épouvante, les guerriers—chacun décidé à tuer le camp adverse et cherchant la perte de l’autre—se ruèrent les uns sur les autres, s’abîmant dans un carnage mutuel.
