Adhyāya 69: Strategic duels under Bhīṣma’s command
Virāṭa–Bhīṣma; Arjuna–Aśvatthāmā; Bhīma–Duryodhana; Abhimanyu–Lakṣmaṇa
तस्य माहात्म्ययोगेन योगेनात्ममयेन च । धृता: पाण्डुसुता राजन् जयश्लैषां भविष्यति,उनके माहात्म्ययोगसे तथा आत्मस्वरूपयोगसे समस्त पाण्डव सुरक्षित हैं। राजन! इसीलिये इनकी विजय होगी
tasya māhātmyayogena yogenātmamayena ca | dhṛtāḥ pāṇḍusutā rājan jayaśleṣāṁ bhaviṣyati ||
Bhīṣma dit : «Ô Roi, soutenus et protégés par son yoga de grandeur et par le yoga où le Soi est réalisé comme le Tout, les fils de Pāṇḍu demeurent inébranlables. C’est pourquoi la victoire s’attachera sûrement à eux.»
