तिष्ठ स्थितो5स्मि विद्धोनं निवर्तस्व स्थिरो भव | स्थिरो5स्मि प्रहरस्वेति शब्दो5श्रूयत सर्वश:
tiṣṭha sthito 'smi viddho na nivartasva sthiro bhava | sthiro 'smi praharasveti śabdo 'śrūyata sarvaśaḥ ||
Sañjaya dit : De toutes parts, au plus fort de la mêlée, s’élevaient les clameurs des guerriers—«Tiens bon ! Je tiens bon ! Transperce-le ! Ne recule pas ! Reste ferme ! Oui, je suis ferme—frappe !» Ainsi le champ de bataille retentissait d’ordres et de serments de résolution, révélant la discipline farouche et la volonté inébranlable qu’exige la guerre selon le dharma.
