भीष्मविक्रमदर्शनं तथा क्रौञ्चारुणव्यूहविधानम् | Bhīṣma’s Ascendancy and the Organization of the Krauñcāruṇa Formation
सम्पूर्ण गोपनीयोंसे अति गोपनीय मेरे परम रहस्ययुक्त वचनको तू फिर भी सुनरें। तू मेरा अतिशय प्रिय है,* इससे यह परम हितकारक वचन मैं तुझसे कहूँगा ।। मन्मना भव मद्धक्तो मद्याजी मां नमस्कुरु । मामेवैष्यसि सत्यं ते प्रतिजाने प्रियोडसि मे,हे अर्जुन! तू मुझमें मनवाला हो, मेरा भक्त बन, मेरा पूजन करनेवाला होः और मुझको प्रणाम कर*। ऐसा करनेसे तू मुझे ही प्राप्त होगा,5 यह मैं तुझसे सत्य प्रतिज्ञा करता हूँ;* क्योंकि तू मेरा अत्यन्त प्रिय है
sarva-guhyatamaṁ bhūyaḥ śṛṇu me paramaṁ vacaḥ | iṣṭo 'si me dṛḍham iti tato vakṣyāmi te hitam || man-manā bhava mad-bhakto mad-yājī māṁ namaskuru | mām evaiṣyasi satyaṁ te pratijāne priyo 'si me ||
Ô Arjuna, écoute encore une fois ma parole suprême, la plus secrète de tous les secrets, chargée du mystère le plus haut. Parce que tu m’es infiniment cher, je te dirai ce qui est pour ton bien suprême. Que ton esprit demeure en moi ; deviens mon dévot ; rends-moi un culte ; prosterne-toi devant moi. En agissant ainsi, tu viendras assurément à moi — je t’en fais la promesse véridique — car tu m’es cher.
