Nirmaryāda-saṃgrāma-varṇana — The Unbounded Clash and Bhīṣma’s Rallying Presence
आसुरीं योनिमापन्ना मूढा जन्मनि जन्मनि । मामप्राप्यैव कौन्तेय ततो यान्त्यधमां गतिम्,हे अर्जुन! वे मूढ़ मुझको न प्राप्त होकर जन्म-जन्ममें आसुरी योनिको प्राप्त होते हैं, फिर उससे भी अति नीच गतिको ही प्राप्त होते हैं अर्थात् घोर नरकोंमें पड़ते हैं
āsurīṁ yonim āpannā mūḍhā janmani janmani | mām aprāpyaiva kaunteya tato yānty adhamāṁ gatim ||
Ces êtres égarés, tombés dans des matrices démoniaques naissance après naissance, ne parviennent pas à Moi; puis, ô fils de Kuntī, ils descendent vers un état plus bas encore—vers de funestes destins infernaux. L’enseignement éthique est que l’ignorance persistante et le refus volontaire du bien divin se durcissent en une pente morale descendante, façonnant la renaissance et la souffrance.
