Granting Sañjaya Divine Sight and the Description of Omens
गृहीतशस्त्रा: क्रोशन्ति चर्मिणो वाजिपृष्ठगा: । अरुणोदये प्रदृश्यन्ते शतश: शलभव्रजा:
gṛhītaśastrāḥ krośanti carmiṇo vājipṛṣṭhagāḥ | aruṇodaye pradṛśyante śataśaḥ śalabhavrajāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : Les cavaliers, armés et portant le bouclier, juchés sur leurs chevaux, poussent de grands cris. À l’heure où l’aube rougit, on les voit se répandre partout par centaines—tels des essaims de sauterelles—image de la marée immense et impersonnelle de la guerre, qui submerge la retenue de chacun et éprouve le dharma au cœur de la frénésie des foules.
