Shloka 39

संजय उवाच इत्युक्तवति गाज़ेये अभिवाद्योपमन्त्रय च । राधेयो रथमारुह् प्रायात्‌ तव सुतं प्रति

sañjaya uvāca ity uktavati gāṅgeye abhivādyopamantrya ca | rādheyo ratham āruhya prāyāt tava sutaṃ prati ||

Sañjaya dit : Ô roi, lorsque Bhīṣma, fils du Gange, eut parlé ainsi, Karṇa, fils de Rādhā, s’inclina devant lui, prit congé après avoir reçu son conseil, monta sur son char et partit vers ton fils (Duryodhana).
