vismayaṃ paramaṃ jagmustatas te vasudhādhipāḥ | indreṇa samaparākramī arjunasyādbhuta-karmaṇā tatra niṣaṇṇāḥ sarve bhūpālā mahad vismayaṃ prāpuḥ |
Sañjaya dit : Alors ces rois furent saisis d’un étonnement extrême. Assis en ce lieu, tous les souverains virent Arjuna—dont la vaillance égalait celle d’Indra—et, devant son acte prodigieux, ils furent remplis d’une grande stupeur.
संजय उवाच

Sañjaya reports that the assembled kings, witnessing Arjuna’s remarkable feat, are overwhelmed with amazement. Arjuna is explicitly compared to Indra in valor, emphasizing the scale of what the onlookers have just seen.
