तं वीरशयने वीरं शयानं कुरुसत्तम । अभिवाद्योपतस्थुर्व क्षत्रिया: क्षत्रियर्षभम्
sañjaya uvāca | taṃ vīraśayane vīraṃ śayānaṃ kurusattama | abhivādyopatasthur va kṣatriyāḥ kṣatriyarṣabham ||
Sañjaya dit : «Ô le meilleur des Kuru, les guerriers s’approchèrent du vaillant Bhīṣma, étendu sur le lit du héros (le lit de flèches). Après s’être inclinés avec respect, les kṣatriya demeurèrent près de lui, honorant le taureau parmi les kṣatriya.»
