वेदनार्तशरीरस्य प्रयच्छापो ममार्जुन । त्वं हि शक्तो महेष्वास दातुमापो यथाविधि
vedanārtśarīrasya prayacchāpo mamārjuna | tvaṁ hi śakto maheṣvāsa dātum āpo yathāvidhi ||
«Ô Arjuna, mon corps est tourmenté par la douleur : apporte-moi de l’eau. Toi, grand archer, tu es bien capable de me la présenter selon le rite convenable.»
संजय उवाच
