निवृत्तेषु च सैन्येषु पारम्पर्येण सर्वश: । निर्मुक्तकवचा: सर्वे भीष्ममीयुर्नराधिपा:,बारी-बारीसे सब सेनाओंके युद्धसे निवृत्त हो जाने-पर सब राजा कवच खोलकर भीष्मके पास आये
nivṛtteṣu ca sainyeṣu pāramparyeṇa sarvaśaḥ | nirmuktakavacāḥ sarve bhīṣmam īyur narādhipāḥ ||
Sañjaya dit : Lorsque les armées, l’une après l’autre et de toutes parts, se furent retirées du combat, tous les rois, ayant ôté leurs armures, allèrent auprès de Bhīṣma.
