प्रजज्वाल रणे पार्थो विधूम इव पावक: । भरतश्रेष्ठ) इस प्रकार दसवें दिनके पूर्वाह्नकालमें उन महारथियोंको पराजित करके कुन्तीकुमार अर्जुन रणभूमिमें धूमरहित अग्निके समान प्रकाशित होने लगे
prajajvāla raṇe pārtho vidhūma iva pāvakaḥ |
Sañjaya dit : Au cœur de la bataille, Pārtha (Arjuna) flamboya tel un feu sans fumée. Ayant dompté ces grands guerriers de char dans la matinée avant le dixième jour, le fils de Kuntī resplendit sur le champ de bataille : sa prouesse paraissait pure et sans entrave, comme une flamme sans fumée.
