पुनर्विव्याध विंशत्या शरै: संनतपर्वभि: । कोसलनरेशने लोहेके बने हुए पाँच बाणोंसे अर्जुनकुमारको घायल करके पुनः झुकी हुई गाँठवाले बीस बाणोंद्वारा उन्हें क्षत-विक्षत कर दिया

sañjaya uvāca | punar vivyādha viṃśatyā śaraiḥ saṃnata-parvabhiḥ |

Sañjaya dit : De nouveau, il le perça de vingt flèches aux jointures recourbées. Selon l’éthique implacable du devoir sur le champ de bataille, le combattant pressa l’attaque sans répit, blessant le prince, fils d’Arjuna, par des traits répétés et bien ajustés, tandis que la lutte pour la victoire s’exacerbait.
