धृष्टकेतुं तु समरे माद्रीपुत्र: प्रतापवान् | अपोवाह रणे क्रुद्ध: सहदेव: पराक्रमी,इसी प्रकार प्रतापी एवं पराक्रमी माद्रीकुमार सहदेव कुपित हो धृष्टकेतुको अपने रथपर चढ़ाकर समरभूमिसे बाहर हटा ले गये
dhṛṣṭaketuṃ tu samare mādrīputraḥ pratāpavān | apovāha raṇe kruddhaḥ sahadevaḥ parākramī ||
Sañjaya dit : Dans la mêlée, Sahadeva, le vaillant fils de Mādrī, s’emporta de colère et, faisant monter Dhṛṣṭaketu sur son char, l’emporta hors du champ de bataille.
