अयं चापि महेष्वास: पार्षतो वाहिनीपति: । भीमसेनश्न समरे पालयिष्यति वो ध्रुवम्,'ये महाधनुर्थधर सेनापति धृष्टद्युम्मन तथा भीमसेन भी समरांगणमें निश्चय ही तुम सब लोगोंकी रक्षा करेंगे
ayaṁ cāpi maheṣvāsaḥ pārṣato vāhinīpatiḥ | bhīmasenaś ca samare pālayiṣyati vo dhruvam ||
Sañjaya dit : «Et voici encore ce grand archer—Dhṛṣṭadyumna, fils de Pṛṣata et chef de l’armée—qui, avec Bhīmasena, vous protégera tous à coup sûr dans la bataille.»
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the dharma of military leadership: capable commanders and warriors are responsible for protecting their people, and steadfast assurance (dhruvam) strengthens morale and resolve in a righteous struggle.
Sañjaya identifies key Pāṇḍava champions—Dhṛṣṭadyumna, the army commander, and Bhīmasena—and declares that they will certainly safeguard their side during the battle.
