विव्यधुर्निशितैर्बाणै रुक्मपुड्खैरजिद्दागै: । इसी प्रकार अन्य शूरवीर महारथियोंने भीमसेन और अर्जुनको सुवर्णपंखयुक्त, सीधे जानेवाले पैने बाणोंद्वारा बींध डाला

Transliteration

vivyadhur niśitair bāṇai rukmapuḍkhair ajiddāgaiḥ |

Translation

Sañjaya dit : Ils transpercèrent Bhīmasena et Arjuna de flèches acérées—traits au vol droit, garnis de plumes d’or. Ainsi, dans la fureur de la bataille, même les plus grands guerriers rencontrent la même force implacable des armes, et la vaillance se mesure à l’endurance et à la maîtrise de soi au cœur de la violence.
