भीष्मरथाभिमुख्यं — Arjuna’s advance with Śikhaṇḍin; Duḥśāsana’s interception
व्यमृद्नन् समरे राजंस्तुरगाश्न नरान् रणे । एवं ते बहुधा राजनू् प्रत्यमृदूनन् परस्परम्
sañjaya uvāca |
vyamṛdnan samare rājan turagāś ca narān raṇe |
evaṃ te bahudhā rājan pratyamṛdūnan parasparam nareśvara ||
Sañjaya dit : «Ô Roi, dans le choc de la bataille, les chevaux piétinèrent les fantassins. Ainsi, ô souverain des hommes, ces guerriers, encore et encore, s’écrasaient les uns les autres dans la cohue de la guerre.»
