Daśame’hani Bhīṣma-yuddham — Śikhaṇḍī-rakṣaṇa, Arjuna-prabhāva, Duryodhana-āśraya-vākyam

प्रतिजग्राह राजेन्द्र तोयवृष्टिमिवाचल: । उन्होंने पाण्डुनन्दन अर्जुनके रथपर बाणोंकी वर्षा प्रारम्भ कर दी। राजेन्द्र! अर्जुनने सब ओरसे होनेवाली उस बाण-वर्षाको उसी प्रकार ग्रहण किया

pratijagrāha rājendra toyavṛṣṭim ivācalaḥ |

Sañjaya dit : «Ô roi, Arjuna supporta cette pluie de flèches avec la constance d’une montagne sous l’averse : inébranlable face à l’assaut, il tint sa position avec discipline et courage au cœur de la fureur guerrière.»
