भीष्मवधोपाय-प्रश्नः (Inquiry into the means to overcome Bhīṣma) | Chapter 103
तथैव चरतस्तस्य सौभद्रस्य महात्मन: । रथेन काज्चनाड्रेन ददृशुर्नान्तरं जना:,महामना सुभद्राकुमार अभिमन्यु सुवर्णमय रथके द्वारा पूर्ववत् रणभूमिमें विचरता रहा; लोगोंने उसकी गतिमें कोई अन्तर नहीं देखा
tathaiva caratas tasya saubhadrasya mahātmanaḥ | rathena kāñcanāḍhyena dadṛśur nāntaraṃ janāḥ ||
Sañjaya dit : «Comme auparavant, ce fils de Subhadrā, à l’âme grande, continua de parcourir le champ de bataille ; et nul ne vit dans son mouvement le moindre relâchement ni la moindre pause, tandis qu’il allait sur son char somptueusement doré.»
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights steadfastness and undiminished resolve in the midst of battle—an aspect of kṣatriya-dharma where courage and consistency of effort are praised, especially when undertaken for one’s side and duty.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Abhimanyu (son of Subhadrā) continues to move about the battlefield as before on his gold-adorned chariot, and observers notice no pause or reduction in his pace or momentum.
