अपना बछ। अंक अष्टाशीतितमो<् ध्याय: उलूपी और चित्राड़दाके सहित बभ्रुवाहनका रत्न-आभूषण आदिसे सत्कार तथा अभ्रमेध-यज्ञका आरम्भ वैशम्पायन उवाच स प्रविश्य महाबाहु: पाण्डवानां निवेशनम् | पितामहीमभ्यवन्दत् साम्ना परमवल्गुना
Vaiśampāyana uvāca | sa praviśya mahābāhuḥ pāṇḍavānāṁ niveśanam | pitāmahīm abhyavandat sāmnā paramavalguna ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : Le héros aux bras puissants entra dans la demeure des Pāṇḍava et, d’une parole souverainement douce et mesurée, rendit un hommage respectueux à sa grand-mère. La scène souligne le rétablissement de l’ordre après la guerre par la courtoisie, la révérence envers les aînés et une conduite conforme au dharma au sein de la famille.
