Description of the Splendour of the Sacrificial Enclosure
The verse underscores ethical receptivity: a righteous ruler should recognize and affirm true counsel, especially when it comes from a wise guide. Yudhiṣṭhira’s assent—“evam etat”—models humility and commitment to dharma over ego.
After Kṛṣṇa speaks, Yudhiṣṭhira responds respectfully, addressing him as “prabho” and confirming that Kṛṣṇa’s statement is correct. It is a brief exchange that signals agreement and deference to Kṛṣṇa’s wisdom.
