Ulūpī’s Disclosure and the Saṃjīvana-Maṇi: Arjuna’s Restoration (उलूपी-प्रकटनं संजीवनमणि-स्थापनं च)
सर्व मे सुप्रियं देवि यदेतत् कृतवत्यसि । इत्युक्त्वा सोडब्रवीत् पुत्र मणिपूरपतिं जय:
sarvaṁ me supriyaṁ devi yad etat kṛtavaty asi | ity uktvā so ’bravīt putra maṇipūrapatiṁ jayaḥ ||
Arjuna dit : «Ô déesse, tout ce que tu as accompli en cette affaire m’est infiniment cher.» Après ces mots, le victorieux Arjuna s’adressa à son fils, le roi de Maṇipūra.
अर्जुन उवाच
The verse foregrounds dharmic etiquette: acknowledging and honoring another’s beneficent action with gratitude and respectful address before moving on to further responsibilities.
Arjuna expresses heartfelt appreciation to a divine lady for what she has done, and then turns to speak to his son, identified as the ruler of Maṇipūra, marking a shift from thanksgiving to the next interaction in the episode.
