अभवं स च तच्छुत्वा विषादमगमत् परम् । ः | : है डर “उनकी बातें सुनकर मेरी सारी इन्द्रियाँ व्यथित हो उठीं और पातालमें प्रवेश करके मैंने अपने पितासे यह सारा समाचार कह सुनाया। यह सुनकर पिताजीको भी बड़ा खेद हुआ
abhavaṁ sa ca tac chrutvā viṣādam agamat param |
Arjuna dit : «Quand j’entendis ces paroles, je fus accablé d’un chagrin extrême. Mes sens en furent ébranlés, et j’entrai dans les régions infernales pour rapporter toute l’affaire à mon père. En l’entendant, mon père aussi fut saisi d’une profonde douleur.»
