Transliteration

Vaiśampāyana uvāca | tān samīpagatān śrutvā pāṇḍavān śatrukarśanaḥ | vāsudevaḥ sahāmātyaḥ prayayau sasuhṛdgaṇaḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana dit : «Ayant appris que les Pāṇḍava s’étaient approchés, Vāsudeva —Kṛṣṇa, dompteur des ennemis— se mit en route pour aller à leur rencontre, accompagné de ses ministres et entouré de son cercle d’amis.»
