प्रभावज्ञास्मि ते कृष्ण तस्मात् त्वां याचयाम्यहम् । कुरुष्व पाण्डुपुत्राणामिमं परमनुग्रहम्
prabhāvajñāsmi te kṛṣṇa tasmāt tvāṃ yācayāmy aham | kuruṣva pāṇḍuputrāṇām imaṃ paramānugraham |
Vaiśampāyana dit : «Ô Kṛṣṇa, je connais la mesure de ta puissance divine ; c’est pourquoi je t’implore avec ferveur. Accorde la vie à cet enfant : fais ainsi aux fils de Pāṇḍu cette faveur suprême, une grande grâce pour les Pāṇḍava.»
