मोदकै: पायसेनाथ मांसापूपैस्तथैव च । आशास्य च महात्मानं प्रययुर्मुदिता भूशम्,तदनन्तर ब्राह्मणोंसे स्वस्तिवाचन कराकर सुरश्रेष्ठ महेश्वरकी पहले ही पूजा करके मिष्टात्न, खीर, पूआ तथा फलके गूदोंसे उन महेश्वरको तृप्त करके उनका आशीर्वाद ले समस्त पाण्डवोंने अत्यन्त प्रसन्नतापूर्वक यात्रा प्रारम्भ की
modakaiḥ pāyasena atha māṃsāpūpaiḥ tathaiva ca | āśāsya ca mahātmānaṃ prayayur muditā bhūśam ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : Après avoir satisfait ce Seigneur à l’âme immense par des douceurs, du riz au lait (pāyasa) et des gâteaux de viande, ils sollicitèrent sa bénédiction et se mirent en route ; les rois Pāṇḍava partirent dans une joie éclatante.
