जनमेजयने पूछा--द्विजश्रेष्ठ!] महायशस्वी महाबाहु भगवान् श्रीकृष्णने उत्तंकको वरदान देनेके पश्चात् क्या किया?
Janamejaya uvāca — Dvijaśreṣṭha! Mahāyaśasvī mahābāhu bhagavān Śrīkṛṣṇaḥ Uttamkāya varadānaṃ datvā tataḥ kiṃ cakāra?
Janamejaya dit : «Ô le meilleur des deux-fois-nés ! Après que le glorieux Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa, aux bras puissants, eut accordé une grâce à Uttanka, que fit-il ensuite ?»
