ऑपनआक्राता बछ। 2 अष्टपञज्चाशत्तमो< ध्याय: कुण्डल लेकर उत्तंकका लौटना

vaiśampāyana uvāca | sa mitrasaham āsādya abhijñānam ayācata | tasmai dadāv abhijñānaṃ sa cekṣvākuvaras tadā |

Vaiśampāyana dit : Uttanka s’approcha du roi Mitrasaha et lui demanda un signe de reconnaissance. Alors ce souverain, le meilleur de la lignée d’Ikṣvāku, lui remit un gage d’identification—destiné à être porté à la reine—afin que son message fût reçu comme authentique.
