Kṛṣṇa’s Departure, Auspicious Omens, and the Opening of the Uttaṅka Dialogue (कृष्णप्रयाण-निमित्त-उत्तङ्कसंवाद-प्रारम्भः)
क्षत्तारं चापि संगृहा पृष्टत्वा कुशलमव्ययम्
kṣattāraṃ cāpi saṃgṛhya pṛṣṭvā kuśalam avyayam
Vaiśampāyana dit : S’étant également approché du chambellan et l’ayant saisi, il s’enquit de son bien-être durable—si tout allait bien et sans aucun mal. Ce vers reflète la courtoisie conforme au dharma : s’assurer d’abord de la santé et de la sûreté d’autrui avant d’exposer ses propres affaires.
