वायुदेव उवाच
This line is a colophon: it does not present a new teaching, but signals that the chapter whose topic is a guru–disciple dialogue has concluded within the Anugītā portion of the Āśvamedhika Parva.
The discourse section ends formally. The text marks the completion of the forty-third chapter of the Anugītā-related material inside the Āśvamedhika Parva.
