प्रकृत्यात्मकमेवाहू रज: पर्यायकारकम् । प्रवृत्तं सर्वभूतेषु दृश्यमुत्पत्तिलक्षणम्
prakṛtyātmakam evāhu rajaḥ paryāyakārakam | pravṛttaṃ sarvabhūteṣu dṛśyam utpattilakṣaṇam ||
Vāyu dit : «Rajas est déclaré être de la nature même de Prakṛti, agissant comme principe de transformation. Il opère en tous les êtres et se voit partout ; le monde manifesté en porte l’empreinte : son signe propre est l’apparition et l’activité incessante.»
