Kuntī–Vyāsa Dialogue on Durvāsā’s Boon and Karṇa’s Birth
स राजा जाह्नवीतीरे यथा ते कथितं मया । तेनाग्निना समायुक्त: स्वेनैव भरतर्षभ
sa rājā jāhnavītīre yathā te kathitaṃ mayā | tenāgninā samāyuktaḥ svenaiva bharatarṣabha ||
Nārada dit : « Ce roi, sur la rive de la Jāhnavī, ainsi que je te l’ai rapporté, s’est uni à ce feu même — par un moyen choisi de lui-même, ô le meilleur des Bharata. »
