Gāndhārī’s Petition for a Vision of the Departed (गान्धार्याः प्रार्थना—दिव्यदर्शनप्रसङ्गः)

सहदेव: प्रियस्तस्या: पुत्रेभ्योईधिक एव तु

Sahadevaḥ priyastasyāḥ putrebhyo ’dhika eva tu.

Yudhiṣṭhira dit : «Sahadeva lui était cher — oui, plus encore que ses propres fils.» Dans le cadre éthique de l’Āśramavāsika, ce vers souligne que l’affection et la confiance peuvent dépasser le lien du sang, révélant la force silencieuse du caractère et du service qui soutient les relations au milieu du deuil et du renoncement.
