Vyāsa’s Inquiry into Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Tapas and the Identification of Vidura with Dharma
स चास्य सम्यड्मेधावी प्रत्यपद्यत वीर्यवान् । इसके बाद राजा धृतराष्ट्रने बलवानोंमें श्रेष्ठ भीमसेनको सान्त्वना दी। बुद्धिमान् एवं पराक्रमी भीमसेनने भी उनकी बातोंको यथार्थरूपसे ग्रहण किया--हृदयसे स्वीकार किया
sa cāsya samyaṅ-medhāvī pratyapadyata vīryavān |
Et lui—clair d’intelligence et puissant de vigueur—accueillit en vérité les paroles de Dhṛtarāṣṭra. Ensuite le roi Dhṛtarāṣṭra consola Bhīmasena, le premier parmi les forts; et Bhīmasena, avisé et vaillant, reçut cet avis tel qu’il était, le prenant à cœur. Le passage met en lumière un mouvement éthique: de la douleur et du conflit vers la réconciliation, par l’acceptation respectueuse de la conduite d’un aîné.
