Adhyāya 32: Tāpasānāṃ Darśanaṃ — Ascetics Seek to Identify the Pāṇḍavas

साध्वाचारा दमोपेता दाननिर्धूतकल्मषा: । ऋजव: शुचय: शान्ता हिंसानृतविवर्जिता:,भारत! जो मनुष्य स्वाध्यायपरायण, तपस्वी, सदाचारी, जितेन्द्रिय, दानके द्वारा पापरहित, सरल, शुद्ध, शान्त, हिंसा और असत्यसे दूर, आस्तिक, श्रद्धालु और धैर्यवान्‌ हैं, वे इस आश्चर्यजनक पर्वको सुनकर उत्तम गति प्राप्त करेंगे

vaiśampāyana uvāca | sādhvācārā damopetā dānanirdhūtakalmaṣāḥ | ṛjavāḥ śucayaḥ śāntā hiṃsānṛtavivarjitāḥ |

Vaiśampāyana dit : Ceux qui sont établis dans la bonne conduite, doués de maîtrise de soi, dont les fautes ont été lavées par la générosité, droits, purs et paisibles, et qui s’écartent de la violence et du mensonge—ô Bhārata—en entendant cette section merveilleuse de l’épopée, atteignent l’état suprême.
