देवगुह्ामिदं प्रीत्या मया व: कथितं महत्‌ | भवन्तो हि श्रुतधनास्तपसा दग्धकिल्बिषा:

Transliteration

devaguhyam idaṁ prītyā mayā vaḥ kathitaṁ mahat | bhavanto hi śrutadhanās tapasā dagdhakilbiṣāḥ ||

Translation

Nārada dit : « Cette grande affaire, tenue secrète parmi les dieux, je vous l’ai révélée par affection. Car vous êtes riches de science sacrée et, par l’austérité, vous avez brûlé vos fautes ; dès lors, il n’y a nulle inconvenance à vous dévoiler ce conseil caché. »
