Vidura’s Message to Dhṛtarāṣṭra: Authorization for Dāna and Public Welfare (विदुरवाक्यम्—दानानुज्ञा)
The verse highlights spiritual fruition through inner realization and sustained contemplation: Vidura’s entry into Yudhiṣṭhira symbolizes the merging of a perfected, dharma-grounded consciousness into the rightful king, while Sañjaya’s direct ascent to heaven underscores the power of devoted remembrance (anudhyāna) and purity of mind.
Nārada, speaking with divine insight, foretells two imminent events: Vidura will mystically merge into Yudhiṣṭhira’s body, and Sañjaya—through constant contemplation of Vidura—will leave the world and attain svarga without delay.
