वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even kings and householders, especially in times of loss and transition, uphold dharma by honoring spiritual teachers and observing proper rites; reverence and disciplined conduct are presented as ethical anchors beyond political power.
The king, accompanied by another person, goes to Vyāsa’s hermitage; there Dhṛtarāṣṭra, praised as the foremost Kuru, formally receives and honors the sage according to prescribed custom.
