athotthāya jalāt tasmāt sarve te samupāgaman | nāpaśyaṃś cāpi te tāni bisāni puruṣarṣabhāḥ ||
Puis, sortant de cette eau, ils se rassemblèrent tous. Mais ces hommes, pareils à des taureaux, ne virent plus les tiges de lotus qu’ils avaient déposées : elles avaient disparu.
