Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa

Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results

मूर्तिमन्ति च सामानि यजूंषि च सहस्रश: । ऋग्वेदश्वागमत्‌ तत्र पदक्रमविभूषित:

mūrtimanti ca sāmāni yajūṃṣi ca sahasraśaḥ | ṛgvedaś cāgamat tatra padakramavibhūṣitaḥ ||

Vasiṣṭha dit : «Là, les chants du Sāman apparurent sous une forme incarnée, et des milliers et des milliers de formules du Yajus également. Le Ṛgveda vint aussi en ce lieu, paré des disciplines de la récitation mot à mot et de la récitation en enchaînement (pada et krama).»
