Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
तद् वै सर्वानतिक्रम्य देवदानवराक्षसान् | मानुषानथ गन्धर्वान् नागानथ च पक्षिण:
tad vai sarvān atikramya devadānavarākṣasān | mānuṣān atha gandharvān nāgān atha ca pakṣiṇaḥ ||
Bhīṣma dit : «Il les surpassera tous—dieux, Dānavas, Rākṣasas, humains, Gandharvas, Nāgas et même les oiseaux—et, par la puissance infaillible de ses armes, il tuera cet Asura d’où est née votre crainte. Il anéantira aussi les autres ennemis des dieux.»
